eauty products have been my passion since I can remember. Lipsticks, tonners, foundations and perfumes always brought a sparkle of joy when I was in a gloomy mood. Don't get me wrong, I'm not posh or vain person but these little gems just carried me through my dim moments. Unfortunately not every product fulfilled my expectations or perhaps just wasn't for me. It was often a mixed experience of excitement and disappointment. This bumpy road between outstanding products and junky items drove me to create this very website. Red Lipstick was created to help you find the real, first-hand beauty product reviews written by women and for women. It is a place where you can express your opinions, exchange your experiences or just chat about everything that is on your mind. Searching...and if we are lucky - finding a product that ticks all the boxes can be a time consuming and tiresome assignment. Frankly speaking it is a guinea pig job and I am more than happy to share my experience with you - both good and bad. I would be delighted if you joined me in my quest for flawless beauty products. So please share your opinions with other women, add new product profiles and rate them as you please. Have your say!
Rules of engagement Men In Black (a.k.a. lawyers) reminded me that sadly everything has its limits so please read Reviewer's Terms of Use and Forum Etiquette. Fortunately these two documents don't contain any legal, small-print catches like “your soul belongs to me" so you are safe. They barely state obvious rules that are commonly accepted by civilized people. A community forum for registered users is available. As soon as you register you will be able to create new topics. The range of topics on the forum is not restricted as long as you comply with the rules stated in Forum Etiquette.
We come in peace I really believe that the Internet is a wonderful invention where people can be truly free and honest. Unfortunately many companies try to abuse this powerful tool to increase their profits using illegal or unethical tricks. So, to be absolutely honest with you, using plain English I solemnly declare that: • I will NOT send you any spam, "special" offer emails or any other advertising gibberish, • I will NOT share your details like your email address with anyone, • I will NOT ask you for any important personal details like your address, your mom's maiden name or your credit card PIN code , • I do NOT work for any cosmetics company and product reviews are NOT biased to favor any particular brand, and last but not least • I do NOT run a shop and I do NOT sell anything. Moreover, to show you my respect to your privacy, I even decided to grant you a full (passive) access to the whole website i.e. the review catalogue, the community forum and all articles without any registration. Although I hope that you'll be tempted to register and share your thoughts with me and other users for a common good.
Enjoy it! I welcome and appreciate any feedback regarding the website. If you have any suggestions on how to improve it please feel free to share it with me.
And remember that every one of us deserve to feel beautiful and special. Like Oscar Wilde said: “Beauty is a form of genius - is higher, indeed, than genius, as it needs no explanation.”
love the feeling of a fresh, smooth and radiant "brand new" skin and that is probably why I am addicted to exfoliators. With so many types of peelings on the market it is hard to decide which one to buy. Which will suit your complexion the best? Depending on your skin type and whether you have any particular problem with your skin, a different product is recommended.
t last it is Carnival time. The time of fun, enjoyment and yes - adventurous makeup! It's a perfect time to experiment with colours and make a bold statement with your look. Traditionally Carnival is full of sparkle and intense colours. For this season makeup artists recommend gold, silver, graphite and plum. These colours happen to be among my personal favourites too. Use your imagination to compile your own look and do not feel confined to the contents of your makeup bag. Try something new and explore your imagination.
